Premier League giants Manchester City have been said to be interested in signing Atletico Madrid star Koke when the January 2017 transfer window opens.
Despite Koke's enormous release clause of £125 million, it was stated that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admires his versatility and would want the player to play for the club in 2017.
According to the report, Manchester City are ready to negotiations with the management of Atletico Madrid for the possibility of lowering the cost of the Spanish midfielder.
The 24-year-old player has never featured for any other club since he joined Atletico Madrid in the year 2009.
In 2014, Koke caught the attention of Manchester United and Barcelona as the two clubs were interested in signing him, but he snubbed them signing a five-year deal to stay at the Vicente Calderon.
