Nigeria's Super Sand Eagles have earned a win at the ongoing 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The Eagles defeated the Pharaohs of Egypt 3 - 2 at the Eko Atlantic Beach on Tuesday night.
The win put the Nigerians in second position in the Group B standings behind leaders, Ivory Coast who defeated Ghana (5-0) in their opening group tie early on.
Nigeria captain, Isiaka Olawale broke the deadlock with 54 seconds left for play in the first period.
In the second period Emmabuel Ohwoferia doubled the Nigeria Super Sand Eagles' advantage when he got to the positive end of a twin move with Victor Tale.
The Egyptians hauled themselves back into the game when Mohammed Abdelnaby reduced the tally for his side.
Ahmed Abouserel smashed in the equalizer for the Egyptians with just a minute remaining in the second period.
It was two goals apiece going into the third and final period however Fuwad Badmus restored the Super Sand Eagles' lead with five and half minutes remaining in the third and final period.
