With the group stages of the EUFA Champions and Europa League concluded, many teams will turn their attentions to the league campaigns.
Last weekend brought huge matches like the El Clasico and this weekend promises to be also exciting.
Here are five matches to be played this weekend you would not not miss;
Leicester City vs Manchester City
Possibly the biggest football match of the weekend. Last season's Champions vs this season's pre-season title favorites. Both teams are faltering and are yet to hit top gear.
The Citizens find themselves in 4th position after 14 games while the Foxes are languishing in 16th place with 13 games from 14 games.
PSG vs Nice
PSG are the richest club in France and should be way ahead of everyone in the league but this season there is a twist. Unai Emery's men find themselves in third place afer 16 games while Nice (led by a certain Mario Balotelli) are currently top of the table.
Last weekend PSG suffered a humiliating 3 - 0 defeat to Montepellier and they are under intense pressure to live up to their billing as favorite.
Torino vs Juventus
A huge derby match in Italy this weekend sees Juve take on relative minnows Torino. For those who do not know Torino are the biggest club in the city of Turin but outside their city they are relatively pushed aside by Juventus.
To make matters worse, Torino always seem to know how to best Juventus in this fixture. Expect player fights, war and drama.
Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Jose Mourinho is under pressure at Man Utd whether he likes it or not. Spurs have flattered to deceive but still both teams find themselves sixth and fifth respectively after 14 games.
However six points seperate the two side who need to start winning as the race for top four heats up.
Celta Vigo vs Sevilla
Celta were the surprise packages of last season in the Spanish La Liga while Sevilla have been the huge team this season.
Sevilla re third on the table and have Atletico Madrid breathing down their neck while Celta have found this season rather hard and are currently 9th after 14 games.
