Ahead of the much awaited draws for the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have taunted Arsenal FC of England.
Fans of London club are already making permutations as to which team will they be pitched with for the second round of the competition.
Barely four days to the draws, the German club responded to an Arsenal tweet asking if they should book their travel to London.
Recall that Bayern Munich knocked out Arsenal 3 -1 on aggregates at the 2013/2014 season having defeated the Arsene Wenger-side 2 – 0 in the first leg played in London, before finishing off the second leg 1 – 1 at the Alianz Arena.
It was 7 -1 on aggregates in favour of the German side yet again at the 2014/2015 edition.
Arsenal FC reach UEFA Champions League group stage for 17th successive season but are yet to win the coveted trophy.
The side were the first London club to reach the final of the competition in 2006 in 2006 losing 2 – 1 to Barcelona.
The group stage of this season's tournament has concluded with the top two in the eight groups decided.
The winners are Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Leicester City Monaco, Arsenal, Napoli.
The teams that finished as second in the group stage are Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Sevilla, FC Porto.
