Arsenal fans have been left stranded in Switzerland following the reports of a plane crash which occurred on Wednesday, December 8 2016.
It was reported that the private aircraft crashed at Basel airport on Wednesday afternoon following dense fog in the Swiss city.
The airport was however immediately closed after the piper pa-34 HB plane coming from Nuremberg crashed after attempting to land.
Hundreds of Arsenal fans who traveled to support the Gunners in their 4-1 win over Basel in the Uefa Champions League have now been stuck in delay.
Meanwhile, the fans have been reportedly struggling to find available hotel rooms as there is no specified time or day they would get a flight back to England.
